Electrician

Electrician / E&I Technician - Silver Peak, NV Schedule

• 8 on / 6 off or 7 on / 7 off
• 10-hour days

Key Requirements

• 3-5+ years' experience as an E&I Technician in an industrial environment
• Proficient with test equipment: DVM, megger, loop/temp calibrators, amp meters, and HART communicators
• Ability to read electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and P&IDs
• Experience with temperature, pressure, flow, level, conductivity, density, and pH instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of control valves, valve positioners, and gas-fired BMS systems (Honeywell, Fireye)
• Experience with 480V+ MCCs, switchgear, and VFDs (ABB, Allen-Bradley, Yaskawa), including troubleshooting, wiring, and programming
• Working knowledge of PLC and DCS systems
• Familiarity with SAP preferred

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, ISA, and NFPA 70E standards
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and operational teams
• Ability to lead work execution and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced industrial environment
