Drawing Control Analyst Superior, WI / Duluth, MN (Hybrid)
12-month contract

We’re partnering with a leading energy infrastructure organization to hire a Drawing Control Analyst to support major pipeline and engineering projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, data quality, and systems, ensuring critical project drawings are accurate, accessible, and up to date.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage the full lifecycle of engineering drawings, from design through to final as-built delivery
  • Ensure drawings are reviewed, approved, and published accurately within the drawing management system
  • Coordinate drawing reviews with project teams, engineers, and SMEs
  • Track drawing status across project stages and support timely project execution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within CAD drawings (e.g., broken references)
  • Maintain high data quality by resolving discrepancies across drawings, PDFs, and metadata
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in using drawing systems and organizing project files
  • Continuously improve data integrity and usability within the drawing management system
What we’re looking for
  • 2–4+ years of experience in drawing control, document control, or engineering data management
  • Experience working with engineering drawings in industries like energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure
  • Familiarity with drawing management systems (e.g., Meridian or similar)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Confident communicator who can work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced project environment
Nice to have
  • Basic CAD or drafting knowledge
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu
  • Exposure to BIM tools or systems like JIRA
  • Interest in process improvement or automation
