The Engineering Lead (Piping โ€“ Field) will oversee EPC Contractor activities related to piping engineering, ensuring all technical deliverables, specifications, materials, equipment, and engineering activities comply with project requirements and industry standards.
The role will provide technical leadership throughout engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up phases while ensuring efficient coordination with project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. ๐Ÿ”น Key Responsibilities
โœ… Lead and manage Piping Engineering activities throughout the EPC project lifecycle.
โœ… Oversee piping design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.
โœ… Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
โœ… Manage EPC Contractor's Piping Field Engineering activities, including personnel competency, technical resources, and engineering execution.
โœ… Review and validate piping engineering deliverables, methodologies, and design solutions.
โœ… Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
โœ… Monitor engineering progress and ensure key milestones and deliverables are met.
โœ… Support contract development, technical evaluations, and scope management activities.
โœ… Develop and implement engineering procedures, standards, and best practices.
โœ… Provide technical input for progress reporting, recovery plans, and change management initiatives.
โœ… Support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
โœ… Ensure effective collaboration with Operations, SHE, Quality, Procurement, Vendors, and Contractors. ๐Ÿ”น Key Technical Areas

โœ” Manual Valves
โœ” Onshore LNG Facilities
โœ” Utility Systems
โœ” EPC Engineering Execution

โœ” Field Engineering & Construction Support ๐Ÿ”น Minimum Requirements
Education
๐ŸŽ“ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
โœ” Minimum 8 years of Piping Engineering experience
โœ” Minimum 4 years of Oil & Gas experience
โœ” Minimum 1 year in a supervisory, lead, acting lead, or contractor oversight role
โœ” EPC project experience is required
โœ” LNG project field experience is highly preferred
โœ” Strong knowledge of piping design, construction, commissioning, and operations ๐Ÿ”น Skills
โœ” Excellent English communication skills
โœ” Strong leadership and team management skills
โœ” Strong planning and coordination abilities
โœ” Stakeholder engagement and interface management experience
โœ” Problem-solving and technical decision-making capabilities
โœ” Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
โœ” Ability to manage EPC contractors and vendors
