The service holders main function is:
  • To manage and coordinate training on technical and industrial skills and abilities
  • Follow-up on the performance of external training providers
  • Coordinate with Internal Trainers to ensure the quality of the training course provided.
For the discipline and the interface between disciplines, to:
  1. Review training needs every year of everyone as identified by immediate supervisor during year end appraisal and plan for his objective.
  2. Coordinate with External and Internal Trainers to conduct technical and industrial skills training courses for clients manufacturing and operations staff.
  3. Ensure that all administrative and technical requirements for technical and industrial skills training courses are being met for effective delivery.
  4. Attend training courses, take observations, collect trainees' feedback and evaluate all aspects of the training process, such as training topic, training method, training content and Trainer's performance.
  5. Ensure that technical and industrial skills training courses are systematically linked with other Talent Management and Career Development programs to maximize the added value of training process.
  6. Participate in developing technical and industrial skills training objectives, goals and plans in coordination with the Training Programs Development Section.
  7. Keep updated with the latest technical and industrial skills training trends and practices and recommend improvements to the training process.
  8. Coordinate with concerned personnel to develop and review technical and industrial skills training course's objectives, content and approach.
  9. Prepare the specifications for technical and industrial skills training courses and participate in recommending and selecting external trainers.
  10. Coordinate with the Planning and Training Analyst to ensure that technical and industrial skills courses' notes and handouts are available and distributed to all participants.
  11. Maintain a database of technical and industrial skills training courses conducted along with all related documentation, such as trainers' evaluation, trainees' feedback, trainees' results and training material.
  12. Develop training KPls to monitor and to ensure we meet our training objective in all aspects.
  13. Participate in providing and delivering specific technical and industrial skills training sessions when required.
