About the Role

We are seeking Equipment Operators to join a field operations team. This role is responsible for the safe operation, mobilisation, maintenance and support of specialised equipment across customer sites.
The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in heavy industry environments, and hold a current MC Driver’s Licence. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking to work within the energy services sector and contribute to safe, efficient field operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and transport specialised equipment to and from operational sites.
  • Conduct equipment mobilisation, positioning, rig-up and rig-down activities in line with operational requirements.
  • Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently during field activities.
  • Assist with pressure control equipment, pumping equipment and associated field services.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance checks and report any defects or issues.
  • Participate in pre-job meetings, toolbox talks and safety discussions.
  • Ensure all activities are completed in line with company HSE policies, procedures and industry standards.
  • Complete operational paperwork, equipment logs and service documentation accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with field crews, supervisors and client representatives.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping across equipment, vehicles and work areas.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Current MC Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
  • Previous experience operating heavy vehicles, mobile equipment or specialised field equipment.
  • Experience within oil & gas, mining, energy, civil construction or heavy industry environments highly regarded.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Ability to work safely in remote and challenging environments.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a field-based team.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience within oilfield services, well services, wireline, cementing, stimulation or completions.
  • Experience working with pressure equipment, pumps, hoses, iron or wellsite equipment.
  • High Risk Work Licences (forklift, dogging, rigging, crane).
  • Relevant industry tickets, training and site inductions.
