Job Title: Equipment Readiness Associate
Location: Texas, USA 79703
Contract Duration: 4 months (possible extension)
Work Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, typically 12-hour shifts; potential weekend call-outs
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Position Summary:
The Equipment Readiness Associate ensures equipment is delivered on time and meets operational requirements. This role focuses on improving equipment reliability, increasing asset utilization, and reducing the cost-of-service delivery (CoSD).

Position Summary:
The Equipment Readiness Associate ensures equipment is delivered on time and meets operational requirements. This role focuses on improving equipment reliability, increasing asset utilization, and reducing the cost-of-service delivery (CoSD).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Equipment Readiness Buyer Reference Lead and Engineer in preparing equipment for jobs.
- Perform non-invasive maintenance for final preparation of surface and downhole equipment and ready boxes.
- Execute work orders (WOs) via the Computerized Maintenance Management System, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
- Prepare and organize documentation for calibrations, function tests, material certifications, inspections, and third-party quality checks.
- Stage and prepare equipment and critical spares for shipment or loading.
- Load equipment onto trucks when required.
- Receive and inspect equipment returned.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce CoSD.
Receiving:
- Safely unload incoming trucks/containers using a forklift.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies; verify paperwork accuracy.
- Stage materials for QA or inventory checks and move accepted goods to storage.
- Pick and stage materials per shipping orders; shrink-wrap pallets if needed.
- Load outbound trucks following load plans and weight limits.
- Confirm shipping documentation accuracy.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and record moves.
- Keep work areas clear and report damages or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Perform daily forklift inspections.
- Forklift Certification
- Office 365 proficiency
- SAP experience
- 2–3 years of relevant experience
- High School Diploma
