NES Fircroft is supporting a global organisation in the search for an Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Risk Governance Lead to be based in Manila.
This role sits within the central Ethics & Compliance Office and reports to the VP for E&C Data, Assurance & Risk Governance. You will play a key role in ensuring a robust E&C risk management framework is in place, supported by effective governance processes, clear reporting, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
As the E&C Risk Governance Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating E&C risk management activities and continuously enhancing risk governance and reporting practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing fit‑for‑purpose E&C risk management processes to support risk reporting across both complex and routine business activities
- Maintaining E&C risk documentation, including the risk heatmap, ensuring a clear and auditable decision trail
- Monitoring changes in the E&C risk environment and assessing the effectiveness of mitigation actions
- Supporting preparation of E&C risk inputs for senior leadership, Executive Committee, Audit & Risk Committee, and relevant business or functional leadership
- Coordinating with E&C Managers on risk reporting processes, timelines, and outcomes
- Delivering E&C reporting to support regulatory and assurance requirements
- Working closely with legal and E&C subject‑matter experts and staying abreast of external developments to identify emerging risk trends

Essential requirements
- Degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related discipline
- Strong mastery of risk and control methodologies and their application across business functions
- Proven experience preparing risk reporting for senior management, up to Executive Committee level
- Ability to challenge and influence effectively while remaining commercially focused
- Experience working in dynamic, ambiguous, and high‑pressure environments
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at a senior and global level
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong delivery focus and ability to work to fixed timelines
- Experience working at a global or regional scale
- Exposure to enterprise performance frameworks, compliance programmes, and control frameworks
