Ethics & Compliance Risk Governance Lead (Manila)

NES Fircroft is supporting a global organisation in the search for an Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Risk Governance Lead to be based in Manila.

This role sits within the central Ethics & Compliance Office and reports to the VP for E&C Data, Assurance & Risk Governance. You will play a key role in ensuring a robust E&C risk management framework is in place, supported by effective governance processes, clear reporting, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
As the E&C Risk Governance Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating E&C risk management activities and continuously enhancing risk governance and reporting practices.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing fit‑for‑purpose E&C risk management processes to support risk reporting across both complex and routine business activities
• Maintaining E&C risk documentation, including the risk heatmap, ensuring a clear and auditable decision trail
• Monitoring changes in the E&C risk environment and assessing the effectiveness of mitigation actions
• Supporting preparation of E&C risk inputs for senior leadership, Executive Committee, Audit & Risk Committee, and relevant business or functional leadership
• Coordinating with E&C Managers on risk reporting processes, timelines, and outcomes
• Delivering E&C reporting to support regulatory and assurance requirements
• Working closely with legal and E&C subject‑matter experts and staying abreast of external developments to identify emerging risk trends

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong risk governance expertise and the ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders in a global environment.

Essential requirements

• Degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related discipline
• Strong mastery of risk and control methodologies and their application across business functions
• Proven experience preparing risk reporting for senior management, up to Executive Committee level
• Ability to challenge and influence effectively while remaining commercially focused
• Experience working in dynamic, ambiguous, and high‑pressure environments
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at a senior and global level
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong delivery focus and ability to work to fixed timelines

Nice to have:

• Experience working at a global or regional scale
• Exposure to enterprise performance frameworks, compliance programmes, and control frameworks
