Full-time Contractor / 1+1 year contract

Purpose
Expeditor is responsible for coordinating the timely delivery of materials and ensuring that project milestones are met by managing supplier relationships and internal teams to keep projects and production on schedule. This role involves communication with suppliers, tracking shipments, resolving issues, and reporting on progress to management

Responsibilities
  • Coordination: Act as the central point of contact between suppliers, production, and shipping departments to ensure the smooth flow of materials.
  • Supplier management: Lead and attend supplier meetings, maintain formal and informal communication, and serve as the main point of contact for suppliers regarding delivery schedules.
  • Progress monitoring: Monitor work-in-progress, verify progress against agreed-upon schedules, and proactively identify and resolve potential delays or bottlenecks.
  • Issue resolution: Act as a liaison to resolve issues between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are achieved.
  • Documentation and reporting: Prepare and maintain records of shipped and received goods, process necessary documents, and compile and report project performance to management and key stakeholders.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure delivered materials meet quality standards and specifications by verifying quantities and conformance against purchase orders.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Sourcing, Engineering or Sales and etc in plant industry.
  • Fluency in Korean and English Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail for tracking shipments and resolving issues.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to monitor project timelines.
