Location: Charlotte, NC 28273
Rate: $18/hr w. benefits or $22/hr w.o benefits 

Overview: 
The Facilities Management & Services Technician provides general factory cleaning services (non-restroom) including wiping down safety rails, cleaning plexiglass 80/20 walls, operating floor scrubbing machines as needed including both ride on and push. General sweeping, collecting debris, wiping down equipment, sweeping and mopping floors that are not accessible by machine, storing cleaning materials properly, organizing and cleaning storage cabinets, removing trash to proper collection locations, and cleaning employee break areas, etc.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1–2 years of experience in facilities services, industrial cleaning, custodial work, or general labor in a factory or warehouse environment.

  • Ability to safely operate floor‑scrubbing equipment, including both ride‑on and walk‑behind units.

  • Comfortable performing physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting, wiping down equipment, and handling debris throughout the shift.

  • Strong understanding of basic safety practices and ability to follow facility safety guidelines at all times.

  • Ability to properly store, organize, and maintain cleaning materials, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals as needed.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail when cleaning equipment, break areas, and production‑floor spaces not accessible by machines.

  • Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs as required for daily cleaning activities.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with facility staff, supervisors, and production teams.

  • Willingness to follow assigned schedules and adapt to changing cleaning priorities as needed.
