Field Manager
The Field Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day operations across offshore and onshore oil and natural gas production assets located in the Cook Inlet region. This role oversees all activities from the wellhead through to the central processing facility, including offshore platforms, pipelines, and associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of experience in oil and gas operations, a strong engineering foundation, exemplary HSE leadership, and a proven record of managing multi-disciplinary teams in challenging field environments.

Field Manager
The Field Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day operations across offshore and onshore oil and natural gas production assets located in the Cook Inlet region. The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of experience in oil and gas operations, a strong engineering foundation, exemplary HSE leadership, and a proven record of managing multi-disciplinary teams in challenging field environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct daily production operations from wells, platform, gathering system and central processing.
- Ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operation of all onshore and offshore field assets.
- Optimize production performance through continuous improvement of operating practices, maintenance programs, and field procedures.
- Lead planning and execution of field maintenance, shutdowns, and major overhauls.
- Champion a strong HSE culture and compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements.
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve safety systems, emergency response plans, and safe-work practices.
- Conduct and oversee regular safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective-action follow-ups.
- Lead and mentor a field workforce of 10–20 employees and contractors working on rotational schedules (e.g., 2-week rotations).
- Foster strong communication, performance standards, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
- Manage staffing, training, competency assurance, and development of field personnel.
- Oversee planning and delivery of field development projects, facility upgrades, integrity programs, and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and contractor performance to ensure projects meet operational and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, subsurface, and logistics groups to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Maintain and improve operational procedures, work instructions, and management-of-change processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain the highest industry standards with respect to employee, contractor and vendor project, shift change and rotation handover communications.
- Develop and track KPIs related to production, efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- 20+ years of oil and gas operations experience, preferably from wellhead to facility, in cold weather climates.
- Strong engineering background (mechanical, petroleum, chemical, or similar).
- Demonstrated expertise in operations management, production optimization, and facility/process systems.
- Extensive experience with HSE management, regulatory compliance, and safety-leadership programs.
- Strong procedure and management of change capabilities.
- Proven capability managing teams in rotational work environments.
- Strong project management and execution skills with a track record of delivering complex operational projects.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
