Location: Australia (remote-based with extensive field work)
NES Fircroft has partnered with an established clean-energy technology provider who are seeking a Field Service Lead to oversee national field service operations while remaining hands-on in the field. This senior role blends technical leadership, customer engagement, and operational delivery across power electronics and energy storage systems.

This senior role blends technical leadership, customer engagement, and operational delivery across power electronics and energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage field service technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance
- Oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of power electronics and electrical systems
- Act as escalation point for complex technical issues and service failures
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Drive service performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement
- Use CRM/CMMS systems to track service delivery and reporting
- 6+ years’ experience in electrical systems, power electronics, or electro-mechanical environments
- Proven experience leading technical teams or field operations
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
- Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable with frequent domestic travel (up to ~70%)
- Experience with high-voltage AC/DC systems
- Exposure to energy storage, controls systems, or remote monitoring
- Background in clean energy, industrial, or critical infrastructure sectors
- Senior, influential field leadership role
