NES Fircroft are looking for 2 - 4 experienced Mechanical Trade Assistants to join the remediation team with one of our tier 1 mining clients.
SALARY & BENEFITS
• $55 per hour
• Fortnightly pay via modern online payroll system
• 2/2 roster – family-friendly schedule

ABOUT YOU
• Valid WA Driver’s License
• White Card
• High Risk License – Rigging
• Previous experience assisting trades in a mechanical setting
• Welding experience highly regarded
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures for high-risk activities (working at heights, confined spaces)
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
THE JOB ROLE
• Work with a respected client in the mining and resources sector
• Contribute to structural remediation projects on critical fixed plant equipment
• Perform general labouring duties including cleaning, material handling, and site housekeeping
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Participate in shutdowns and campaign maintenance programs
• Assist trades personnel with structural remediation tasks on tanks, hoppers, chutes, conveyors, and supporting steelwork (welding experience ideal).
• Prepare work areas, tools, and equipment for maintenance and repair activities.
• Support lifting and rigging operations under supervision, including setup and pack-down for complex lifts. ring your hands-on skills and safety-first mindset to a dynamic site environment where no two days are the same!
