This is a full‑time, permanent remote assignment based in the Philippines, supporting U.S. accounting operations and following Central Standard Time (CST), Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Purpose The General Ledger Accountant will support the accounting operations of a U.S.-based construction company, with primary responsibility for full-cycle month-end close and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. This role requires prior experience in construction accounting, including familiarity with job costing, project-based financials, and WIP reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with Trimble Vista, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment aligned with U.S. time zones.

Core Job Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy across multiple entities and projects
- Support preparation of financial statements, including project-level reporting
- Assist with Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, revenue recognition, and job cost analysis
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in full-cycle month-end accounting
- Prior experience in construction or project-based accounting (required)
- Hands-on experience with Trimble Vista (required)
- Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, and revenue recognition in construction
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, with ability to collaborate across remote teams
- Adaptability to U.S. business practices and accounting standards
- Experience working for a U.S.-based company or supporting U.S. accounting operations
- Experience with multi-entity or multi-state construction environments
- Fully remote, offshore position
- Must be available to work during U.S. business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST)
