Job Summary Geophysicist :
The Geophysicist is responsible for assisting in delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to our customers. The job consults with operations groups as needed to support the area of expertise and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of product and service delivery and formally communicates findings. The Geophysicist actively participates in promoting new technology and services offerings and supports the PL in risk management and applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise. They also provide real-time support to operations as required.

Job Description:
Shall perform seismic inversion job at advanced level, and individually.
Shall have advanced understanding of pre-stack and post-stack inversion. CI, EEI, SSI job shall be handled.
Shall be able to perform Rock physics study individually.
confident enough to deliver and present results to client.
Provide input to geological reservoir model building in collaboration with geologists, reservoir engineers, and specialists.
Ensure the integration of results obtained from seismic inversion.
Prepare geophysical work program, promote it.
Promote know-how maintenance and sharing among geoscientists through communications and trainings

Additional Information:
Understanding of Petrel software platform is desired.
Quality Control of geophysical input data used for interpretation studies, ensuring a thorough analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of geophysical data.
Validate the consistency of evaluation methodologies with geophysical information. Ensure the continuity of information through reporting and archiving.
Propose when relevant new processing, inversions, seismic acquisitions.
Participate in 4D acquisition feasibility designs and processing workflows to ensure that the operations team has the necessary input from the asset. Take responsibility of respecting studies planning and budget.
Guaranty that all the uncertainties related to geophysics are well taken into consideration in decision making.
Participate in the SOR and WLR processes and follow up of drilling activities from the geophysical point of view.

Experience and Education Qualification:
Master Of Science, M. Tech. or PhD in Geophysics or Geology preferrable from IITs, Presidency College, Jadavpur University, BHU, Kurukshetra university or Tier 1 university.
Professional experience: 5-10 Years in seismic interpretation/Seismic Inversion/Reservoir Geophysics
