  • Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF

  Job Purpose
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Construction to lead and oversee all fabrication activities from yard execution through load-out, ensuring alignment with project objectives, engineering standards, and safety requirements. This role plays a critical part in ensuring constructability, managing contractor interfaces, and delivering high-quality fabrication outcomes for large-scale Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and execution of fabrication activities from engineering to load-out.
  • Ensure constructability compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution.
  • Monitor and control fabrication, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning activities.
  • Review and manage technical deviations and construction dossiers.
  • Identify project risks and implement corrective and recovery actions.
  • Review contractor progress reports and address delays or quality concerns.
  • Maintain strong coordination between Company and Contractor teams.
  • Lead risk assessments, pre-job meetings, and technical discussions.
  • Capture and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 10+ years in construction/fabrication roles in Oil & Gas projects
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Fabrication, welding, lifting, and mechanical testing
    • Construction execution, completions, and hook-up
    • International codes and safety standards
  • Experience in:
    • Offshore/onshore fabrication yards
    • LNG / sour gas projects (preferred)
    • Working with EPC contractors and large organizations
  • Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage complex interfaces and resolve technical challenges
