Head of development

For our client international renewable energy company we recruit experienced Head of development to play a key role in advancing utility-scale renewable energy projects across Poland. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated manager to lead development of onshore wind, PV and BESS projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS and Wind projects.
• Manage land acquisition, permitting, environmental and grid connection processes.
• Coordinate external consultants, advisors and development partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with municipalities, landowners, authorities and grid operators.
• Monitor regulatory and market developments affecting the renewable energy sector.
• Manage development budgets, timelines, risks and reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience and minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development in Poland.
• Strong understanding of permitting, land acquisition, grid connection and regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of the renewable energy
• Demonstrated success in progressing projects through key development milestones.
• Fluent in both Polish and English.
