Oil & Gas
NES Fircroft are currently seeking a HSE Graduate on behalf of our valued Oil and Gas Client. The successful candidate will support administrational duties of the Jansz HSE department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
HSE Compliance & Governance
• Monitor compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental legislation, standards, project and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits and assist with corrective action plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Risk Management
• Assist in and review risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), and hazard identification processes.
• Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate in project inspections and report findings with recommendations for improvement.
Incident Management
• Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
• Support communication of learnings across teams to prevent recurrence
Training & Safety Culture
• Coordinate HSE training programs, inductions, and competency assessments.
• Promote the safety culture through engagement initiatives, and awareness campaigns
Documentation & Systems
• Maintain HSE documentation, registers, and reporting systems.
• Support the administration of safety procedures, emergency response plans, and environmental management plans.
Environmental Management
• Assist in monitoring environmental performance (e.g., waste, emissions, spill prevention,
sustainability practices).
• Support compliance with internal environmental reporting requirements.
Reporting
• Prepare regular HSE performance reports, metrics, and dashboards for management.
• Highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
