Our Client, a Global Oil and Gas EPCI is currently seeking a HSEQ Coordinator for a 12-month contract with potential to extend.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
HSE Compliance & Governance
- Monitor compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental legislation, standards, project and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with corrective action plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct and review risk assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), and hazard identification processes.
- Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in project inspections and report findings with recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
- Support communication of learnings across teams to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate HSE training programs, inductions, and competency assessments.
- Promote a positive safety culture through engagement initiatives, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
- Provide coaching and support to supervisors and workers on HSE expectations and procedures.
- Maintain HSE documentation, registers, and reporting systems.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of safety procedures, emergency response plans, and environmental management plans.
- Assist in monitoring environmental performance (e.g., waste, emissions, spill prevention, sustainability practices).
- Support compliance with environmental permits and reporting requirements.
- Prepare regular HSE performance reports, metrics, and dashboards for management.
- Highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- 5 years’ industry experience
- Thorough understanding of Onshore and offshore HSE regulations
- Risk assessment and hazard identification skills
- Incident investigation & root‑cause analysis (Taproot / ICAM qualified)
- Auditor (ISM / ISPS and, or ISO)
- Project management capability
- Strong communication and training delivery
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to coordinate between operational teams and management
