This position is responsible for supporting operational excellence through strong technical expertise in instrumentation, controls, electrical systems, and maintenance practices, while maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Position Overview
The IC&E Technician plays a critical role in supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable production, storage, and transfer of liquefied natural gas. This position is responsible for supporting operational excellence through strong technical expertise in instrumentation, controls, electrical systems, and maintenance practices, while maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Instrumentation and Controls
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain PLC systems, field instrumentation, analyzers, control valves, pneumatic systems, motor control circuits, and low‑voltage electrical distribution systems (600 VAC and below).
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities in accordance with established programs.
- Accurately document maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Support root‑cause analysis efforts and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Collaborate closely with operations personnel to optimize LNG production and terminal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
- Assist with the installation, commissioning, and start‑up of new equipment and systems.
- Provide technical input during project execution and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and company safety standards.
- Supervise contractors as required and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
- Share technical knowledge and provide training support as needed.
- Recommend improvements to equipment, systems, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with instrumentation, controls, or electrical systems in an industrial environment.
- Technical degree or certification in instrumentation or electrical systems (preferred).
- Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and technical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel occasionally within the United States.
