Indirect Sourcing Lead - Korea
Full-time Contractor / 1+1 year contract
Purpose
The specialist will work closely with assigned Sourcing Manager and business as the local owner for assigned segments of indirect Sourcing. This responsibility includes assisting commodity leaders in executing strategies to ensure the achievement of business objectives related to indirect sourcing responsibilities. He/She will be the primary source of contact for leading RFQs/contra related to indirect for Korea Entities business to reach deflation targets. This responsibility includes supporting the implementation of strategies to ensure the realization of business objectives of the indirect sourcing responsibilities aligned with the Asia&MEA Indirect Sourcing Leader, the Commodity Leader, and the Asia&MEA Indirect Sourcing Team.

Responsibilities
- Proactively lead the deployment of the global and local indirect sourcing at site level to meet overall deflation and productivity objectives. Fully supporting for successfully meeting deflation, cash and usage targets for assigned location.
- Anticipate Capex involvement and ensure the resource's integration with the investment team and pipeline.
- Strengthen collaboration across the indirect team, commodity leaders strategy, ensuring seamless interaction and integration with teams.
- Drive use of Company Preferred Suppliers and work with Business Sourcing/ Category Management teams to communicate demand for goods or services not currently addressed by Company Preferred Suppliers.
- Manage and actively support tactical execution of projects, escalations due to delivery, quality issues, invoicing issues, supplier database management, improve payment terms, assist internal customers with SOW development through to PO execution (as necessary).
- Engage with Indirect Sourcing Organization and Local Business leaders to leverage volume and combine strategies on deflation and cash improvements for all suppliers.
- Building up metrics related to Spend, Savings, Suppliers and Cash and contribute to reach excellence of metrics.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Sourcing, Procurement & Supply Chain.
- Knowledge in Indirect Sourcing.
- Basic knowledge in manufacturing environment.
- Able to communicate in Korean & English.
- Able to interpret and prepare PPT & Excel.
