Installation Methods Engineer

Location: Paris Area, France + Offshore Missions
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Long-term Assignment

We are currently seeking an experienced Installation Methods Engineer to support major offshore and subsea developments within the Oil & Gas industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing installation methodologies, engineering studies, calculations, procedures, and technical documentation to support offshore construction activities. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, the engineer will ensure that installation solutions are safe, efficient, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop installation procedures, method statements, and engineering deliverables.
  • Perform feasibility studies and installation assessments.
  • Support the installation of subsea structures, pipelines, risers, umbilicals, and offshore infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with project teams, vessel crews, and offshore personnel.
  • Provide technical support during offshore campaigns when required.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, operational constraints, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Installation Methods Engineering within the Offshore Oil & Gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of subsea installation methodologies and offshore construction activities.
  • Familiarity with installation studies, lifting operations, load-out activities, and marine operations.
  • Fluent English.
  • BOSIET, CA-EBS, and Offshore Medical certificates are highly desirable.
PS: I am specifically looking for candidates with a strong background in Installation Methods Engineering, including installation procedures, engineering studies, installation analyses, feasibility assessments, and offshore construction methodologies. Profiles focused primarily on offshore operations, vessel supervision, or execution support without significant methods engineering experience may not be suitable for this opportunity.
