Role Description: We are seeking an Installation Methods Senior Engineer (Contractor) to join the “Installation Methods Engineering” department within the “Global Project Center.”
You will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals. You will prepare the scope and support the offshore crew during operations, ensuring coordination with the client, suppliers, offshore crew, and design team.

You will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, riser systems, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals. You will prepare the scope and support the offshore crew during operations, ensuring coordination with the client, suppliers, offshore crew, and design team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and manage a technical package
- Handle all external (clients, suppliers) and internal (disciplines, installation, manufacturing, procurement) interfaces
- Prepare documentation and preliminary studies for tenders, FEEDs, and projects
- Supervise engineering activities related to preparation and offshore installation
- Plan, prepare, and validate specific procedures (site tests, transport, installation) and related calculation notes (e.g., lifting sling design)
- Participate in vessel mobilization and offshore installation phases to validate technical solutions in line with HSEQ standards
- Ensure activities comply with project standards for Quality, Cost, and Time
- Select contractors and supervise subcontracted studies
- Validate concepts and manage changes with HSEQ considerations
- Propose improvements and validate developments aligned with HSEQ standards
- Contribute to team development and expertise consolidation
- Offer innovative solutions to reduce costs
- Master’s degree in Engineering with relevant experience in the energy sector
- Experience in subsea structure installation and/or flexible flowlines/umbilicals is required
- Experience in mooring installation is a plus
- Offshore operations experience
- Strong autonomy, coordination, and communication skills
- Proven leadership experience
- Fluent in English
- Primarily office-based
- Occasional international travel
- Offshore or off-site presence during project execution phases as needed
