Instructor - Job Location - Qatar
Job Purpose
Deliver technical training, competency development programs, and simulator-based learning to ensure Operations and Maintenance personnel possess the required skills and knowledge to safely and effectively operate and maintain plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver classroom, simulator, and on-the-job technical training programs.
  • Develop and implement competency assessment and training plans for Operations and Maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct technical, procedural, and field competency assessments.
  • Support onboarding and readiness programs for new employees and trainees.
  • Develop customized simulator scenarios and troubleshooting exercises.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvement actions.
  • Prepare training reports and identify competency gaps with line management.
  • Ensure process safety, operational excellence, and safe work practices are embedded in all training activities.
  • Support workforce development through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of Oil & Gas operations experience, including at least 2 years in a training or instructional role.
  • Experience in Operations or Maintenance of industrial process facilities is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong technical training, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with competency management and assessment programs.
  • Knowledge of simulator-based training and operational procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
