Location: Asker
Main tasks:
- Design, coordination, and follow up of instrument valve packages and field instrumentation.
- Serve as Technical Responsible Engineer (PRE) for instrument valve packages.
- Act as Instrument Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE) for mechanical equipment packages, working closely with Mechanical PRE for compressor packages.
- Oversee and evaluate vendor performance and vendor technical documentation.
- Ensure all required vendor information is identified, tracked, and communicated to maintain project progress.
- Participate in FATs, inspections, and vendor site surveys.
- Prepare, review, and finalise engineering documents and data registers.
- Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education Bachelor degree or similar.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from field instrumentation design/specification in greenfield offshore oil and gas.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with PRE activities for instrumentation valves packages.
- Extensive knowledge of field instrumentation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO and IEC.
- Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - both orally and in writing.
- Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in team.
- Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements.
- Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
