Instrument Designer

Principal Accountabilities

1. Design and revise Instrumentation drawings for the projects in accordance with established standards, such as Loop Drawings, P&IDs, and Instrument Tagging.
2. Support As-built documentation and Handover activities related to Instrumentation systems.
3. Support Inspection and Quality Check activities to verify the accuracy and correctness of drawings against actual field installations.

Qualifications

1. Diploma (Vocational Certificate) or higher in Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, or a related field.
2. Experience in drafting/designing Instrumentation systems and preparing As-built documentation for large-scale refinery or petrochemical projects, working with EPC, PMC, and Owners. Must have knowledge and experience in preparing and interpreting related documents, such as:
   • Instrument Index
   • Instrument Datasheets
   • Hook-up Drawings
   • Loop Diagrams
   • JB / Marshalling Drawings
   • Cable Routing, Cable Schedule, and Tray Layout Drawings
3. Ability to use Smart Plant Instrumentation or other Instrument Management systems in project environments.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD.
5. Good proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
6. Completed military service or exempted.
7. Thai Native speaker and can work in Thailand as legal work authorization
8. Able to communicate in English at a basic or higher level.
9. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
10. High sense of responsibility and ability to work under project schedule and time pressure.
