Contract period: 01.05.2026 - 31.12.2027
Location: Bergen
Main tasks:
- Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.
- Participate in studies.
- Estimate instrumentation tasks.
- Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
- Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
- Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
- Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
- Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
- Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
- Perform as-built.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
- Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in VEM.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
- Strong experience in engineering design.
- Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
- Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.
- Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore and onshore installations (VEM/M&M).
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
Required Certificates:
- Basic EX, minimum 6-8 hours.
- FSE high and low voltage including practical first aid.
- Offshore certificate.
- Health certificate.
