Inter-Affiliate Compliance Analyst
Location: Calgary, AB
Start Date: March 16th
Contract Length: 10 months
About the Role The Corporate Compliance department fosters a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, integrity, and ethical conduct. The Inter-Affiliate Compliance team manages Inter-Affiliate Codes Program and provides governance to ensure operations comply with the requirements of the clients Inter-Affiliate Codes. These Codes safeguard against improper sharing of information, people, and resources to support a fair and competitive market.
Reporting to the Manager, Inter-Affiliate, Compliance Training & Services, this position provides maternity leave coverage within the Inter-Affiliate Compliance team.

Reporting to the Manager, Inter-Affiliate, Compliance Training & Services, this position provides maternity leave coverage within the Inter-Affiliate Compliance team.
Responsibilities Compliance Program Support
- Support execution of Inter-Affiliate compliance requirements, including the Canadian Gas Pipelines Code of Conduct and the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Standards of Conduct (SOC).
- Assist with analysis of routine business processes, regulatory submissions, and process improvements.
- Work closely with other departments for data gathering and compliance canvassing.
- Coordinate and support daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance requirements.
- Provide compliance analysis and advice to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze personnel changes and manage role classifications to ensure appropriate access permissions are applied.
- Manage databases and documentation, including SharePoint and Workday.
- Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., Business, Policy Studies, Legal/Regulatory, or related field).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within tight timelines.
- Experience following and improving business processes.
- Proven ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, willingness to learn, problem-solve, share information, and meet deadlines.
- Exhibits integrity and accountability in all responsibilities.
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
