Software Engineer – Endur (ETRM)
We are hiring a Software Engineer to join a Product Delivery Team supporting a Trading and Supply IT portfolio within the North America Crude and Products business. This long‑term role focuses on Endur development, production support, and Agile delivery, working closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver stable and scalable trading solutions.

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join a Product Delivery Team supporting a Trading and Supply IT portfolio within the North America Crude and Products business. This long‑term role focuses on Endur development, production support, and Agile delivery, working closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver stable and scalable trading solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Endur solutions across the full software development lifecycle
- Deliver defect fixes, enhancements, and project work in an Agile and DevOps environment
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications
- Provide production application support including issue triage, root cause analysis, and change management
- Analyze system issues, assess impacts, and recommend end‑to‑end solutions
- Support system testing, releases, upgrades, and post‑deployment validation
- Collaborate with business users, global IT teams, and third‑party vendors
- 5 to 7 years of IT experience with a strong focus on ETRM or CTRM systems
- Proven Endur development and application support experience in a production environment
- Energy or Commodity Trading and Risk Management domain experience
- Experience in one or more functional areas such as Trade Capture, Risk, Scheduling and Operations, or Settlements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- OpenLink Endur version 11 or higher
- JVS and OpenComponents development
- Java and or .NET
- Oracle Database including SQL and PL/SQL
- Strong understanding of Endur database schema and performance tuning
- Experience with TPM, Connex, grid‑enabled scripts, and operation services is desirable
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools such as Git and VSTS
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Clear and effective communicator with technical and business stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced delivery environment
- Collaborative team player comfortable working in a global team setup
