NES Fircroft is currently recruiting an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support to end-users in Singapore.

The IT Support Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems by resolving technical issues promptly, supporting users, and maintaining IT infrastructure to enhance productivity and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including system errors, connectivity issues, and hardware/software faults
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Install and update software applications, patches, and drivers as required
  • Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and deactivation in accordance with company policies
  • Set up and configure email accounts, access permissions, and security settings
  • Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolutions, and IT asset inventory
  • Document troubleshooting procedures and develop user guides for knowledge sharing
  • Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and security best practices
  • Deliver remote support to off-site users using appropriate tools to minimise downtime
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in an IT support or technical service role is advantageous
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Familiarity with installation and support of desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and standard office applications
  • Experience with ticketing systems for logging and tracking support requests
  • Knowledge of remote support tools and techniques (e.g., remote desktop, VPN)
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
