Position Title: JS.NCV.043 IECMS Data Officer ADR
Grade: NJS 09
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of IECMS Data Officer ADR within the ADR division based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
The IECMS Data Officer supports the IECMS Team Leader ADR in the efficient processing, management, and scheduling of case data within the Integrated Electronic Case Management System (IECMS). This includes ensuring data accuracy, security, compliance with judicial and legal procedures, and timely listing of court matters for hearings, mediations, and other court-related proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
This role is integral to the effective delivery of ADR services and requires the successful applicant to perform the position's responsibilities accurately, professionally, and in accordance with NJSS requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Input and validate case information in the ADR Case Management System.
- Maintain up-to-date records and perform regular data backups.
- Generate reports as required by court officials.
- Ensure data privacy and security measures are strictly followed.
- Support ADR operations through effective data management.
- Coordinate with court officials to understand data requirements and deliver accurate information.
- Manage user access and to ensure data security.
- Develop and implement data management protocols to streamline case information processing.
- Conduct regular scanning and updating of ADR case management system.
- Participate in case management system upgrades and testing to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Educational qualification: Diploma in Information Technology, Business Management or related fields.
- Experience: 3 years plus experience in the National and Supreme Court Registry or similar role.
- Knowledge and Skills: Basic Mediation skills Training.
- Knowledge and Skills: Sound knowledge of Court Registry operations, practices, procedures and protocols.
- Knowledge and Skills: Track record in administration and management of court files.
- Personal Qualities: The officer must possess a strong understanding of the legal system, including the structure, functions, and processes of the registry.
- Personal Qualities: This includes the ability to set strategic direction, make informed decisions, motivate staff, and drive organizational change. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also important for collaborating with stakeholders, such as judges, court administrators, and other court users.
- Educational Qualifications: An Advanced Diploma in Court Administration would be an advantage.
- Experience: Must have a track record of successful management, including overseeing court track operations, planning, and resource allocation.
