Position Title: JS.RPC.033 MOU officer
Grade: NJS 06
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of MOU officer within the Stakeholder Relations unit based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
To oversee and facilitate the development, execution, and evaluation of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between the Court Registry Stakeholders division and domestic and international stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and mutual assistance.

We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of MOU officer within the Stakeholder Relations unit based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
To oversee and facilitate the development, execution, and evaluation of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between the Court Registry Stakeholders division and domestic and international stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and mutual assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Identify potential new stakeholders for MOU development and collaboration.
- 2. Draft and propose MOU agreements in consultation with legal advisors.
- 3. Coordinate meetings and negotiations with stakeholders to finalize MOU terms.
- 4. Monitor the implementation of MOUs, ensuring all parties meet their obligations.
- 5. Evaluate the effectiveness of MOUs, reporting on outcomes and recommending modifications.
- 6. Maintain a database of all active and past MOUs, including details on performance and compliance.
- 7. Conduct regular reviews of MOUs to identify opportunities for renewal or renegotiation.
- 8. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on the objectives and requirements of MOUs.
- 9. Collaborate with the Public Relations Officer to communicate MOU achievements and collaborations.
- 10. Handle any disputes or issues arising from MOU partnerships, working towards amicable resolutions.
- Tertiary Diploma in International Relations, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in contract management, legal affairs, or stakeholder relations.
- Knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in MOU development.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to and incorporate new technologies and methodologies.
- Degree in Law, International Relations, or Business Administration. .
- 3 or more years of experience preferred in a similar role.
