Junior Maintenance Engineer
Location: Pau, France
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Type: Onshore with potential short offshore assignments
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret engineering documentation, including: P&IDs, PFDs, equipment datasheets, and technical drawings
• Support the development and maintenance of functional location hierarchies
• Assist in the creation and optimisation of maintenance plans
• Participate in multi discipline spare parts definition (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation)
• Support materials and stock management, including: Min/max stock levels, Safety and capital stock analysis
• Maintain accurate data within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Work autonomously under the supervision of a senior engineer while interfacing with multiple disciplines
• Ensure compliance with all HSE and quality standards
Required Skills & Experience
• Engineering background (Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar)
• Understanding of maintenance engineering principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering documentation
• Experience or strong exposure to: Maintenance planning and Spare parts and stock management
• CMMS experience is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Access
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Proactive, organised, and able to work independently within a team environment
Certifications (for Offshore Assignments, if applicable)
• Valid BOSIET (OPITO approved)
• MFC
• Seaman Book
Additional Information
• Office and IT equipment will be provided
• Short offshore assignments may be required (up to 2 months)
• Candidates must be able to meet standard medical, insurance, and HSE requirements
