We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support safe, efficient, and reliable Product and Service Delivery (PSD) for the oil and gas industry. This role involves performing quality assurance tests, preparing laboratory reports, and providing technical support during additive selection and fluid design. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to develop advanced technical skills.
  Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance tests on company products prior to wellsite service delivery.
  • Prepare accurate laboratory reports and technical presentations for internal and external customers.
  • Assist Design/Technical Engineers and Product Champions with additive selection and fluid design.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment in clean, working condition and ensure proper waste disposal.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with laboratory standards.
  • Perform risk analysis before each task to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
  • Participate in Service Quality Meetings and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Comply with all HSE policies, wear PPE, and maintain required safety training.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or science coursework preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment & Schedule
  • On-site laboratory environment.
  • Mandatory PPE and adherence to safety standards.
  • Standard work schedule with occasional overtime.
