Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: W Dickinson, North Dakota 58601
Schedule: Monday–Friday, (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Position Summary
The Laboratory Technician supports safe, efficient, and reliable operations within the Onshore Regional Laboratory. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on analytical laboratory experience while contributing to product quality, data integrity, and operational excellence.
The role includes assisting with routine testing, sample preparation, documentation, equipment upkeep, and general laboratory support under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation following approved procedures.
• Accurately document laboratory work, sample data, and results in logs, reports, and digital systems.
• Assist with sample handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain laboratory workspaces, equipment, and inventory in clean and operational condition.
• Support QA/QC activities and audits as directed by lab leadership.
• Perform risk analysis before assigned tasks to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives and maintain required safety training.
• Wear appropriate PPE and comply with all HSE procedures and policies.

Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fewer than two years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.
• Strong interest in laboratory work and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• High attention to detail and strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications
• Coursework or hands-on experience in a scientific setting (e.g., chemistry, technical school, or college lab classes).
• Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment or procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
