Laboratory Technician 
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (7:00–3:30 or 8:00–4:30)
Rate: 35/hr

Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented Laboratory Technician to support R&D and plant testing activities focused on water purification technologies. This role involves performing wet chemical analyses, supporting product testing, and documenting results to ensure high‑quality data and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, catalog, and track incoming samples and maintain accurate records
  • Perform laboratory analyses on resin and water samples using established methods
  • Conduct wet chemistry techniques including acid/base titrations and related testing
  • Operate analytical instrumentation such as UV/Vis, ICP‑OES, and ion chromatography (IC)
  • Interpret test results and prepare clear, accurate reports for stakeholders
  • Communicate analysis status and findings to internal teams and business partners
  • Assist senior chemists with experiments and synthesis activities
  • Support plant and lab operations as needed, including preparation of chemical dilutions
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, compliant lab environment
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in a physical science (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of industry lab experience (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with wet chemistry and analytical testing methods
  • Familiarity with water chemistry, titrations, and spectrophotometric analysis
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently after training and manage shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with ion exchange resins
  • Knowledge of chromatographic techniques and analytical instrumentation (IC, ICP‑OES, UV/Vis)
