About the Opportunity Our client, a major international player in the Energy and Offshore industry, is looking for an experienced Lead Discipline Flexible Engineer to support strategic subsea developments and SURF projects.

This position combines front-end engineering, technical leadership, supplier management, and project execution activities within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and client needs assessments.
  • Perform technical benchmarking and supplier qualification activities.
  • Support cost estimation and tendering phases.
  • Review and validate supplier engineering documentation.
  • Monitor manufacturing activities and qualification programs.
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and qualification testing.
  • Support pre-commissioning engineering activities.
  • Contribute to offshore installation methodologies.
  • Provide technical support during offshore operations and project execution. 
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the design and engineering of flexible pipes in accordance with API 17J.
  • Strong experience within the Oil & Gas subsea sector.
  • Proven ability to lead technical activities and interface with multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Flexcom or equivalent analysis software.
  • Knowledge of subsea umbilicals.
  • Offshore certifications such as BOSIET, MFC, or Seaman Book. 
Additional Information
  • Based in Paris area.
  • Occasional onshore and offshore missions may be required.
  • International project environment with exposure to complex subsea developments.
