NES Fircroft are looking for Experienced Senior or Lead Electrical Engineer with strong with consultancy experience, to take ownership of unique large-scale rare-earth Greenfield project and national mining & power projects.

- Degree qualified Lead Electrical Engineer with strong consultancy experience ideally working Tier 1 Greenfield projects
- Client-side experience with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Be competent in performing electrical studies (e.g. load flow, arc fault, protection grading) including the use of power system modelling packages (i.e. SKM PTW, ETAP)
- Must understand project life-cycle, from studies through to delivery, within Mining and Power disciplines.
- Hold CPEng or ability to obtain within 6 – 12 months. National design signs off required for this role.
- Develop electrical discipline designs and engineering deliverables for feasibility and detailed engineering phases.
- Manage a team of 5 - 20 Engineers, all working various local and national projects
- Take ownership of front-end project design, as well as provide technical commissioning support to the on-site team. Be an escalation point and act as a technical SME for the client
- Supporting commercial project and scheduling throughout each phase
- Maintain relevant engineering and Australian industry or regulatory standards throughout all relevant works.
