As an LNG Process Operator, you’ll be at the center of our operations — ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production, storage, and transfer of liquefied natural gas. This role is critical to delivering reliable energy while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
● Operate and maintain natural gas treatment and liquefaction systems.
● Oversee LNG loading/unloading at the plant, marine fueling terminal, and remote facilities.
● Monitor plant and terminal conditions from the control room,
● Respond to alarms, and adjust processes during startups, shutdowns, and normal operations.
● Work directly with high-pressure gas, cryogenic liquids, and high-voltage systems, ensuring all work meets strict safety and regulatory standards.
● Record operational data (temperatures, pressures, flow rates, tank levels) and generate accurate reports.
● Collaborate with team members, contractors, and supervisors to support safe and continuous operations.
● Participate in plant maintenance, inspections, and emergency response activities.
● Support DOT, PHMSA, USCG, and OSHA compliance through proper documentation and reporting.
● Help maintain the appearance, security, and integrity of both plant and terminal facilities.
Schedule
● Rotating 7-on/7-off shift schedule, covering 24/7/365 operations (including holidays and weekends).
● Flexibility for overtime, call-outs, and travel between plant and terminal locations.
Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
● 2+ years of experience in natural gas, cryogenics, or related process operations.
● Forklift certification (preferred) and valid driver’s license (required).
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HMI/computer console monitoring.
● Ability to interpret P&IDs, troubleshoot mechanical and control systems, and safely work at heights or in challenging conditions.
