Our client is seeking a Logistics Methods Engineer to join their Field Operations team in Baku. This role will support logistics strategy, process optimization, contract management, and operational efficiency across offshore oil & gas activities. The successful candidate will work closely with logistics, drilling, operations, and project teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and efficient logistics support.

Our client is seeking a Logistics Methods Engineer to join their Field Operations team in Baku. This role will support logistics strategy, process optimization, contract management, and operational efficiency across offshore oil & gas activities. The successful candidate will work closely with logistics, drilling, operations, and project teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and efficient logistics support.
Key Responsibilitie
- Develop, implement, and maintain logistics and supply chain procedures.
- Monitor logistics performance and KPIs to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct logistics reviews, operational studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports, logistics plans, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Support logistics resource planning, including marine vessels, helicopters, logistics bases, and freight forwarding.
- Manage logistics-related contracts, including Scope of Work preparation, technical evaluations, and contract performance monitoring.
- Coordinate tendering activities with Contracts & Procurement teams.
- Promote digitalization initiatives, data analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, company policies, and industry standards.
- Master's Degree in Engineering.
- 2-3 years of engineering experience.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with reporting systems and digital planning tools.
- Strong IT skills are desirable.
- Understanding of drilling operations is an advantage.
- Fluent Azerbaijani and English.
