Maintenance Cost Analyst

Location: Mont Belvieu, TX (Onsite)
Job Type: Full-time, Contract (Dec 1, 2025 – May 29, 2026); Contract to Perm
Schedule: Mon–Thu, 10 hours/day (40 hrs/week); overtime as needed
Overview
The Maintenance Cost Analyst supports developing, implementing, and managing day-to-day cost control programs for routine and non-routine maintenance. This role ensures consistent cost control practices and collaborates with turnaround teams when necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize Oracle E-Business Suite to create project codes and manage cost-related data.
  • Oversee and maintain purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices.
  • Develop and monitor maintenance budgets.
  • Review and validate contractor quotes for accuracy and compliance.
  • Track daily costs for contractors and vendors.
  • Collaborate with routine and non-routine maintenance teams outside the cost control group.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts.
  • Calculate cost allocations and maintain cost reporting or tracking templates.
  • Generate management cost reports and onboard vendors/contractors to meet reporting requirements.
  • Perform invoice reconciliation, verification, and processing.
  • Coordinate month-end close activities with site accounting teams.
  • Analyze spending data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Deliver spend analysis to support maintenance, operational, and reliability decisions.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–15 years of experience in cost control or related roles.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively in a team environment.
