Title: Maintenance Specialist

Summary: We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional with strong capability across fixed and processing plant environments.

Role Objectives: The Maintenance Specialist acts as a subject matter expert within fixed and processing plant workstreams, supporting the delivery of maintenance strategy development, optimisation, and deployment activities. The role ensures consistent, high‑quality outcomes across operational sites.

Key responsibilities
  • Analysing component replacement frequencies to identify opportunities for improved performance, reliability, and asset life.
  • Investigating historical failures, assigning failure modes, and facilitating technical reviews with engineering teams, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
  • Developing and recommending mitigation actions using FMECA and RCM methodologies to support predictable equipment performance.
  • Supporting the deployment of optimised maintenance strategies within SAP, APM, and related systems.
  • Leading maintenance strategy development activities in collaboration with site stakeholders.
  • Contributing to a collaborative, high‑performing culture that prioritises wellbeing and consistent governance outcomes.

Key Skills & Attributes
  • Proven background in maintenance or reliability engineering, or a relevant trade qualification supporting fixed or processing plant operations.
  • Strong understanding of planned maintenance scoping, execution, and optimisation using FMECA and RCM methodologies.
  • Experienced in failure investigation, identifying failure modes, and supporting engineering improvements.
  • High proficiency in SAP/1SAP, particularly Work Management and master data.
  • Experience supporting maintenance strategies, master data, APM, and standardised work processes.
  • Solid understanding of risk assessment processes and Management of Change (MOC) frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to communicate effectively from frontline teams through to maintenance leadership.
  • Willing and able to work from an office environment with travel to operational sites as required.
  • Strong capability in tracking, monitoring, and resolving issues during and after deployment phases.

This is a fixed‑term secondment (12 months), operating Monday to Friday, based in an Adelaide-based office with travel to regional operational sites as required.
