Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for developing, improving, and sustaining injection molding and core manufacturing processes to ensure the production of conforming products that meet customer specifications. This role provides technical support, drives process improvements, troubleshoots manufacturing issues, and collaborates with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Training teams to maximize quality, yield, and throughput.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes using engineering principles and process knowledge.
  • Troubleshoot process and production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure product quality and process stability.
  • Analyze manufacturing data to improve yield, throughput, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Partner with training teams to develop and deliver effective manufacturing training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a technical or leadership role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in injection molding, wax processing, or ceramic manufacturing; ceramic experience preferred.
  • Experience developing work instructions, procedures, and training content.
  • Knowledge of process improvement, root cause analysis, and manufacturing best practices.
Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical analysis skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting and presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to define problems, analyze data, and draw sound conclusions.
