JOB DESCRIPTION Laser Welding Programmer Technician
 
THIS ROLE IS NOT REMOTE/WFH

Develop, simulate, and optimize 5-axis 3D laser welding programs using Siemens Sinumerik One controls

Utilize the TRUMPF Teach Panel with 6D mouse technology to manually define tool paths and favorable nozzle positions on complex 3D surfaces
Configure and program VisionLine Detect camera systems to automatically identify workpiece characteristics (edges, circles, etc.) and apply real-time position corrections to compensate for part-to-part variance

Optimize welding parameters using BrightLine Weld Comfort technology to achieve high feed rates (up to 20 m/min) while minimizing spatter and maintaining high component quality

Manage FocusLine Professional settings to allow for freely programmable focus positions and aspect ratios tailored to specific plate thicknesses
Lead the prove-out of new part recipes

Monitor and log real-time laser power data via Active Laser Power Control to ensure consistent and reproducible weld results
