Manufacturing Operator

Role Summary The Manufacturing Operator – Shipping & Receiving is responsible for supporting production operations through accurate material handling, packaging, inventory transactions, and shipping/receiving activities. This role is critical to ensuring the timely flow of materials and finished goods within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull components and materials using production order lists
• Package materials and products according to work instructions and quality standards
• Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using:
  • Carts
  • Hand trucks
  • Pallet jacks
• Load and unload shipments on the shipping/receiving dock
• Receive and process materials in SAP system
• Perform inspection of incoming materials and finished goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure material traceability
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing operations
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 lbs consistently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse processes
