Duration : 12 Months Renewable Contract
Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Marine Advisor to support offshore Oil & Gas operations based in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The successful candidate will provide specialist marine technical advice and assurance across vessel operations, offshore activities, marine contractors and operational safety. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide specialist marine technical advice and assurance across vessel operations, offshore activities, marine contractors and operational safety. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical marine advice across offshore operations.
- Support safe execution of specialist marine activities and rig moves.
- Review vessel selection, suitability and vetting.
- Review marine risk assessments and operational procedures.
- Assess vessel manning, crew qualifications and competency.
- Support vessel chartering and utilisation.
- Monitor marine contractors and vessel owners.
- Participate in vessel inspections and marine audits.
- Support emergency response and marine HSEQ activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant maritime regulations and industry standards.
- Master Mariner background or equivalent marine professional qualification.
- Strong offshore marine operations experience.
- Oil & Gas industry background.
- Vessel operations management/supervision experience.
- Dynamic Positioning experience.
- Vessel inspection and auditing experience.
- Good understanding of marine legislation and maritime regulations.
