Job Description: Mechanic Location: Carlsbad, NM
Schedule: Monday-Friday The Mechanic will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining compressor systems used in upstream production operations. This includes Vapor Recovery Units (VRU), Gas Lift compressors, and Instrument Air compressors. The role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports safe, continuous production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on VRU, gas lift, and instrument air compressors.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and execute repairs in the field.
- Ensure 3rd party contractors execute proper repairs.
- Conduct inspections, monitor performance, and adjust operating parameters as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with operations teams to support optimal equipment performance.
- Experience working with compressor systems in upstream oil & gas.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and field procedures.
