MECHANICAL FIELD SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities:
• Review engineering work orders and make sure it contains all information needed to complete the works
• Lead and be updated on all client TR (Technical recommendation) and EN – standards (like 1090 ect), to be a good supervisor for engeneering and contractors
• Preparation of equipment / follow up on material and prefabrication, as well as mechanical data sheets for enquiry
• Technical evaluations and conditioning of Supplier's quotations
• Review and check vendor's / contractor proposal for compliance with all specifications and requirements
• Prepare list of questions / clarifications to vendors
• Lead technical clarification meeting(s) with potential vendor(s) / contractors /client
• Follow up prefabrication and make sure the prefab is correct considering material specification, standards and local requirements
• Review and verification of equipment / package supplier’s engineering for compliance to Project requirements and International Standards, integration within project design and control of interfaces
• Technical support for installation and commissioning
• Lead the project specific machinery / package team
• Actively carry out specific technical tasks for the project
• Plan activities for her / himself and for the rest of the team including Contracor and client personel
• Prepare and plan VIC, RAMS, PDP and Work Permit
• Coordinate and support Wood machinery & package team
• Liaise with Wood project team and other disciplines
• Liaise with Client team
• Report progress in project management system
• Deliver as-built documents after work is complete
• Lead work on site technichally and in accordnce with HSE requirements and policy
Skills / Qualifications:
• MSc/BSc in Mechanical engineering / Piping / Stucture
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering in Oil&Gas / Petrochemical / Energy projects (minimum 5 years)
• Knowledge about welding and welding documentation / requirements
• Strong team work attitude
• Flexible
• Ingenuity and curiosity to investigate alternative solutions beyond the expectations
• Fluent English and French spoken / written
