Location: Richmond, CA
Rate: $30/hr 
Contract: 1 Year (Potential for extension)
Schedule: 5am - 1pm, 1pm - 9pm, 9pm-5am (Rotating Shifts) 

The Mechanical Technician is an essential member of a collaborative team of mechanics and technicians who ensure the safe and precise execution of engine testing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work rotating Day, Swing, and Grave shifts.
  • Operate automotive test engines and vehicles following established specifications.
  • Monitor test operations, adjusting control systems to maintain compliance and performance.
  • Diagnose issues and perform mechanical and system repairs on test engines and control systems.
  • Ensure a consistent fuel supply for all engines and test vehicles.
  • Apply strong mechanical aptitude to support daily operations.

Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in the following:
    • Working with automotive engines or mechanical systems
    • Hands-on experience in a technical or mechanical environment
  • General automotive engine knowledge gained through recent education or work as a mechanic
  • Experience monitoring and adjusting process control systems
  • Basic algebra-level math skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
