III. SCOPE OF WORK
Overall - The Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) is the highest authority on the offshore installation and is responsible for safe operation, integrity, and performance of the facility.
For our Client, this role is expanded to include Project Management responsibilities and technical leadership to develop O&M services, particularly for clients in the Middle East region, where our Client is growing its service footprint.

I. Education:
Bachelor's or Master's in: Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical / Marine / Electrical / Process Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent technical degree
II. Experiences
- Minimum 10–15 years offshore O&G experience (production, operations, installation).
- Minimum 5 years as OIM or Senior Offshore Superintendent.
- Proven experience in Middle East operations (preferred) with understanding of regional regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated capability in:
- Offshore operations
- Simultaneous operations (SIMOPS)
- Major installation campaigns (topsides, WHPs, jackets, pipelines)
- Emergency response management
- Asset integrity & maintenance optimizatio
- Experience in combined OIM + Project Manager roles is highly desirable.
III. SCOPE OF WORK

Offshore Operational Leadership
- Lead and oversee all onboard operations: production, mechanical, E&I, utilities, marine, logistics, HSE.
- Ensure 24/7 safe, compliant and efficient operations according to API, ISO, OPITO, IMCA standards.
- Serve as the OnScene Commander in all emergency response situations.
- Maintain operational integrity through continuous monitoring, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Act as Project Manager for assigned O&M or installation projects.
- Lead project planning, execution, progress reporting, cost control, stakeholder alignment.
- Manage interfaces between Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Subcontractors, and Clients.
- Ensure project deliverables (procedures, HSE plans, SIMOPS plans, asset integrity plans) meet contractual requirements and best industry practice.
- Provide senior technical advisory to support our Client’s strategy for expanding O&M services, including:
- Asset life extension programs
- Predictive maintenance & digital monitoring
- Brownfield modifications
- Operational readiness and performance audits
- Work with the Business Development team to prepare O&M proposals, technical write-ups, and client presentations.
- Mentor engineers and offshore teams to elevate our Client O&M competency.
- Own the HSE culture offshore; enforce Permit to Work (PTW), SIMOPS, isolation controls, lifting standards.
- Lead HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with client regulations (ARAMCO, ADNOC, QG/QP, PDO, etc. when applicable).
- Manage multinational workforce: performance reviews, competency tracking, scheduling, coaching.
- Ensure 100% certification compliance (OPITO OIM, BOSIET/FOET, HUET, OGUK medical, H2S).
- Resolve conflicts and maintain excellent morale among crew.
- F. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operation reports.
- Submit incident reports, deviation reports, and KPI evaluations to management.
- Support audits by clients, MWS, classification societies.
