Location: Oslo
Main tasks:
- Project Initial scope: Follow-up the work within the civil, onshore structural and architect disciplines in the project phases
- For early phase projects: Support development of scope and follow up civil related issues in studies as well as maturation of deliveries within the civil disciplines as required per project phase
- Future scope: During execution phase: Follow up contractor(s) to ensure deliverables in line with scope of work, budget and schedule TASKS AND DELIVERABLES
- Coordinating the onshore engineers with delivery of scope
- Follow-up Contractor(s) to ensure deliveries in line with scope of work, budget and schedule. Provide Contractor(s) with input, clarifications and maintain contact as necessary
- Contribute to internal project evaluations and documentation e.g. design basis, Technical and operational requirements and guidelines (TORG), functional specifications, technology assessments and qualification programmes
- Support site selection with civil related evaluations including ground investigation and testing
- Provide input to procurement activities for ongoing and future project phases within own discipline e.g. site preparation, design of structures, long lead items and company provided items (CPI)
- Contribute to planning and executing of civil engineering and construction scope
- Ensure necessary dialogue with interfacing disciplines and contribute to resolving interface issues
- Within own discipline, drive engineering efficiency, secure safety in design, design-to-cost and constructability
- During execution, support construction field engineers and provide input to decisions within own discipline, f. ex. inter disciplinary input, handling of site queries (SQs) and non-conformance requests (NCRs), technical queries (TQs) and variation order requests (VORs)Support handling of relevant change proposals and requests to depart from a requirement in TORG, non-conformance requests (NCRs)
- Follow up delivery of life cycle information (LCI) within discipline
- Ensure experience transfer from similar projects, operations and discipline network
- Plan and execute follow-up activities e.g. verification Cost development (onshore department)
- Lead the cost development, mapping project costs
- Review of Estimation model
- Establishing fit for purpose Offshore Wind Specific Package Cost Indexes
- Collect and process cost data (including contract growth)
- Recommend quarterly updates to Cost Basis rates
- Develop and update Cost Basis Assumption Books
- Recommend quarterly updates to Cost Forecast
- Agree and deliver onshore generic risk list (threat and opportunity) to onshore Early Phase Team (EPT) and to Estimation for Early Phase CRA
- Update and maintain onshore generic risk list with input from EPT
- Provide recommendation for cost outcome space as input to CRA
- Collect as-built cost and cost development data from project and provide input to cost growth in Early Phase CRA
- Update current onshore generic risk lists to include impact on Yield, OPEX and Schedule
Qualifications:
- Civil engineering
- Offshore wind projects
- Onshore construction
- Understanding of cost breakdowns and risk
- Experience and understanding of landfall, cable corridor and onshore substation development or construction
- Minimum 5 years experience, ideally 10+ years
- Desirable to understand Polish regulations, but not a necessity
